Harbor Seal research on Oregon coast

Shortly after finishing my first year in the Marine Studies program at Oregon State, I was given the opportunity to work with OSU's Dr. Renee Albertson to help her with a research project she had been working on for over 10 years. 
I am helping her by photographing seals in a harbor seal colony located near Depoe Bay. These photos will be compared to photos Dr. Albertson has so we can tell if any of these seals are migrating throughout the year, joining other colonies, etc. It's a fantastic opportunity to get out in the field and also gain some experience with photographing wildlife!
