The Los Angeles Zoo is a leading organization in the field of conservation and preservation. As their Director of Conservation, Jake Owens is currently working to create a Conservation Strategic Plan, something that will unite the LA community through putting a focus on how we can all work to make a difference in our daily lives for the betterment of the planet. Isn't that amazing! Before his time with the Zoo, Jake had the chance to travel the world working with different animals in various settings. Whether it be helping giant pandas in the forests of China or observing and tracking drill monkeys off the coast of Africa, he has followed his passion to the maximum and is inspiring so many people along the way!
